Token Money is Non-Refundable
When you book a ride with Perfect Taxi Services, a portion of the payment may be required upfront as Token Money. Please note that this amount is non-refundable under any circumstances. This policy is in place to cover administrative and operational costs involved in reserving your booking and ensuring vehicle availability. Once paid, the token money will not be refunded, even if the trip is canceled.
General Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans may change, and you may need to cancel your reservation. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair while also taking into account the resources we allocate to each booking.
Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the trip: If you cancel your booking at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up time, you may be eligible for a partial refund, excluding the non-refundable token money. In this case, a small administrative fee may also be deducted from the refundable amount.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the trip: For cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled trip, no refund will be provided. We understand that this may be disappointing, but last-minute cancellations impact our ability to serve other customers and manage our fleet efficiently.
No-show policy: If you fail to show up at the designated pick-up location without prior cancellation or communication, it will be treated as a no-show, and no refund will be issued.
Refund for Special Circumstances
While we adhere to the above cancellation policies, we also understand that unexpected situations such as emergencies, natural disasters, or sudden health issues may arise. In such cases, we encourage customers to contact our support team directly. Refunds for cancellations due to extraordinary circumstances will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and we will do our best to offer a fair resolution.
However, even in special circumstances, the token money remains non-refundable.
Refund Process
If your cancellation qualifies for a refund (excluding the token money), the refund process will begin as soon as we receive and confirm your request. Refunds are typically processed within 7-10 business days from the date of the cancellation request. Please note that the actual time it takes for the refund to reflect in your bank account may vary depending on your payment method and bank policies.
We will notify you via email or SMS once your refund has been processed.
Modifications to Bookings
If you wish to modify your booking (such as changing the time or date), please inform us as early as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request based on vehicle availability and scheduling. However, modifications made within 24 hours of the scheduled pick-up time may not be possible, and cancellation rules will apply if the service cannot be provided.
Refund for Service Discrepancies
At Perfect Taxi Services, we take great care in providing a professional and smooth travel experience. However, if you believe there has been a significant discrepancy in the service provided (such as vehicle not matching your booking or other serious issues), please contact our customer support team as soon as possible. We will investigate the issue, and if a genuine mistake has been made on our part, we will work with you to resolve the situation, which may include a partial or full refund based on the circumstances.
Payment Methods and Refunds
Refunds will be processed through the same payment method used at the time of booking. If you paid via credit card, debit card, or an online payment gateway (such as Razorpay), the refund will be credited to your bank or card account. If you paid in cash, we will issue a refund to the bank account you provide.
Please ensure that all payment details you provide are accurate to avoid delays in processing your refund.
Exceptional Cases
Perfect Taxi Services reserves the right to adjust the refund policy in cases of extreme or unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to natural calamities, political unrest, or government regulations that may affect travel. In such cases, we will work with customers to find a solution that prioritizes their safety and well-being, even if it means offering rescheduled rides instead of refunds.
Third-Party Platforms
If you have booked your ride with Perfect Taxi Services through a third-party platform or app, such as a travel aggregator, please refer to their specific cancellation and refund policies. Any refunds processed in such cases will be governed by the terms and conditions of the third-party platform, though the non-refundable token money policy will still apply.
Changes to the Refund Policy
Perfect Taxi Services reserves the right to amend or update this refund policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes made will be reflected on our official website, and customers are encouraged to review the policy before making a booking.
